A direcção do clube SF Os Portugas vem por este meio anunciar a activação da secção de voleibol. Desta forma, a primeira competição oficial será no campeonato da Cisco, cujas inscrições estão a decorrer.

Recebemos uma queixa de que jogadores de "Os Portugas" andaram pela freguesia a "atirar-se" a mulheres de uma forma pouco ortodoxa! Para que o caso nao chegue a policia nem a comunicacao social pedimos que o jogador em questao se dirija a senhora e lhe peca imediantamente desculpa.

Esta semana a equipa "Os Portugas" vai gozar de uma merecida folga. Depois do embate de titas que aconteceu na semana passada, o mister resolveu dar descanso a' equipa no passado fim de semana. Espera-se um regresso ao trabalho sem lesoes, mas com a promessa que o peso dos jogadores vai ser controlado. Quem se apresentar com peso acima da media sera alvo de um intenso trabalho de ginasio e chibatadas.

Pedro Lebre - iniciou a partida na baliza sendo decisivo na manutencao do resultado nesta fase inicial! Saido da baliza teve uma actuacao bastante consistente! - 6

Castro - demonstrou alguma falta de frescura fisica, e dificuldade em soltar a bola para os companheiros. Compensou com golos na fase crucial do encontro - 5

Guilherme - muita disponibilidade fisica, sempre bastante interventivo - 6

Bompastor - arma de destruicao macica, nao deixa os seus atributos por maos alheias, entra com tudo, "sempre a bola, as vezes, nao posso evitar, nao vou mudar" - estas foram as suas palavras no final do encontro - 5

Res - dribles diabolicos e golos caraterizam uma atuacao mais conseguida deste pequeno artilheiro! Atirou-se para a piscina num golpe de teatral e acabou ameacado - 6

Meireles - sempre disponivel no meio campo, combativo, fez o primeiro golo do encontro, importantissimo para o objectivo da equipa - 6

Delgado - sempre disponivel para ajudar os companheiros, correu bastante, faltou-lhe serenidade em frente a baliza. Acabou por fazer o gosto a pe no ultimo golo do encontro - 5

Frederico - iniciou a partida no banco, entrou com vontade mas os seus remates sairam todos muito desviados do alvo. Esteve na baliza onde colocou em risco o resultado, ao tentar fintar um adversario perdeu a bola deixando o adversario a apenas 1 golo de distancia. Quando saiu para a frente tentou colocar alguma serenidade no encontro, e ai esteve melhor - 5

Ricardo Pinto - uma palavra de apreco ao nosso manager, roupeiro, presidente e vice presidente, e orgao social, pela qualidade dos seus servicos, o equipamento encontrava-se limpo e cheiroso! Foi Tide, foi? O nosso obrigado!

As the Manager and Sports Director of the Portugas team, I will make a brief summary of last game.

First of all I have to congratulate all the tugas for their hard work and spirit and for the though battle they had yesterday.

But even though we won, the story of yesterday's game is not only a sea of roses. In fact, the problems started before the first whistle. In the lockeroom I had my first hard decision as "the guy in charge" of the team spirit and motivation. Gui and Castrino were arguing because there was only one pink g-string and both of them wanted it bad. To calm them down I decided to give it to Fred, because of his good behavior (he has only smoked 4 cigarettes before the game). I believe this was a fair and decisive moment to everyone's motivation.

Talking about the game itself, the game was though and the first minutes were very tense. Even so, we scored the first goal which made the other team players to start playing an aggressive game without any respect for my lads. Perhaps with the fear, my players started getting afraid and offering the ball and momentum to the other team. I noticed that my players were scared and looking at me with the "what should I do, mister?" expression in their ugly faces. I looked to Lebre and screamed: "You can do it boy!!!". Lebre than started defending every possible ball, motivating and turning the spirits of team again. I noticed that the team was lacking aggressiveness so I decided to let Papito in. Another decisive moment, to be honest. Papito with his verbal and physical skills, typical from someone born and raised in Povoa de Varzim, scared the other guys. That gave Fred inspiration and allowed him to run and dribble his opponents, like someone that was trying to catch some butterflies and picking some flowers. Castrino then, looked at them, and said "If they can do it, I can do it!!!". He turned his GPS on and found his way to the goal. And what a goal!!! Gui than made an error: he lost one ball and we suffered a goal. I turned to him and said "Gui if you'll do that again, you won't get a strap-on on your birthday!!!". Gui motivated with the words and with Lady Gaga's music on his vocals, made an impressive exhibition, full of heart and bravery. Meireles, with his proud goatee, fought like this was the last game of his career giving stability to the central midfield. Delgado with his leadership screamed and supported his mates, promising a round of lollipops at the end of the game. His words made Reese crazy, dribbling every player from the other team. That made them angry!!!Mr. Redneck nr. 1 than said: "Wanna take it outside?". As a response, our entire team started singing and dancing Rihanna hit song "Only girl in the world". With the powerful lyrics from that song and with the beautiful voice of Gui, we finished and destroyed our rivals.
